I am trying to find the best way to store Buckling Spring keycaps other than in a bag or box.
I was hoping someone already was having some good ideas. I wanted to share what I came up with so far (did a rough design and a draft 3D print):

Looks like a pretty efficient way to store spare caps, could also double as a show piece on a wall if you have some interesting customs

I've long since lost the original laser cutter files for this one, which I made in 2016-2017. I feel like I got the files from someone else and I adapted them slightly. It's made from two pieces of acrylic, with some feet on the underside. They provide enough height to clear Model M stems and enough constraint to keep all the key caps rotationally aligned.

That's about what I am looking for ;)
In case someone can find the original file, I'd be grateful. I've checked the usual sources like aliexpress, Amazon, etc. and the stuff their is not fit for BS keycaps.

Just to give the full feedback on this post: I have built three more models in acrylic and PE foam for displaying and storing key caps. Here's the first 4 x 5 model in acrylic for 1U keys. Once I have received the rest of the models, I will update it here.
