what exactly does anti-linear mean?

I think I might have heard that term before, although I don't remember what exactly it means. It might be another term for exponential switches, I think the term "progressive" is also used.
I've used keyboards with exponential switches, and it feels like a linear but because of how stiff the switch gets by the end, it's really easy to not bottom out, although it depends on the weighting.
