I don't know if it has some technical name, but that's what I call a flat cable. They are not something you can get very often as a consumer but you can try I guess. Keep in mind they come with different spacing so you might get one that doesn't fit quite right. Good luck getting one since single wires can be messy.

Flexible flat cable (FFC). AMP's brand name back in the day was FlexStrip.

All that really matters is the pitch (space between conductors).

You can also just use random jumper wires or take some wires from an old ethernet cable (preferably solid wire rather than stranded).

I've always heard it referred to as a ribbon cable

I don't see anything wrong with it. Are you sure you need another?

You can buy a roll of ribbon cable from Amazon. Example. (I know you need 32 pins; it's an example.) You just need to strip or crimp the ends. You can get something like this or find one with a crimp tool.

The plastic end connectors are Dupont connectors. You can search "Dupont Ribbon Cable" and get a bunch of hits.
