Hello, I recently got an AEK ii and am wondering what cable is compatible with it. Thank you!

You will need an active adaptor (also called "protocol converter") from its ADB protocol to a modern computer that uses USB. There are three in the Wiiki but there might be more out there. An adaptor for a PS/2 keyboard will not work.

If you are connecting it to a classic Mac, you could use a "S-video" cable if you can't find an original grey Apple cable. Those have the same mini-DIN plugs.

If you're just looking to use it on an original system (an old Macintosh or an Apple IIgs) then you can use a standard s-video cable.

I'd recommend getting the Drakware converter. It costs about $10 more than the parts to make the converter yourself. You do need an ADB or S-Video cable to hook to the Drakware and a USB C cable to hook to whatever your computer uses. You can then use the keyboard on a Windows box or whatever.
