Hello everybody.

I have two keyboards like this in the pictures below. One is connected to a vintage and very very rare terminal and one is a spare (the one in the pictures). The switches feel good and should be indistructible, the keyboard weights at least 5 kg due to the massive aluminum base. Does this keyboard have any value? I think it could be easy modded to usb as it should be a ansi parallel keyboard.

With keyboards like this it really depends on how many people want it. It can be converted to USB but that isn't quite a short process so yeah. I, for one, would be interested in buying them ;)

Yup. Purely about demand. Some years ago, Micro Switch keyboards comparable to this would routinely go for double digits, often low ones. Don't know if the keyboard inflation of recent years has reached boards as obscure as this.

Maybe call it CLICKY in your auction. ;)

SA is not the same thing as Honeywell / Micro Switch caps. (Yours are better!) Behold:

SA doesn't get everything right, though. The dishing that you like is actually very shallow compared to the classics. Even the HiPro is on the flat side, versus Honeywell caps (same shape as on the Space Cadet):

I still need to find out what kind of BS connector it uses, it looks like the one on the post where the caps are from, but I doubt it is using DB25 serial. Especially considering it's from a terminal. It sucks to have no info on it, but my friend and I are maybe not the most qualified to look for that stuff, either.
