BTC-Monterey Connection???

I found a BTC listed on ebay with a familiar-looking LED overlay. And not because BTC is something I would pay much attention to. After scratching my, uh, head for a few minutes I realized where I'd seen this before. I dug out an old photo of my Monterey K104W, and the overlay is pretty much identical. Is there a connection between BTC and Monterey that I don't know about? Or did they just share a common supplier? Enquiring minds want to know! My Monterey is NIB and a quick search shows more than one example of each with this overlay, so I don't think it's a modification thing.
