Good day everyone , I found this keeb yesterday, there is a model name at the back (Philips "P 2815" made in Germany ), but when I try searching it in google, it doesn't show any records or whatsoever. Thank you in advance!

Woah, that's a beauty! Could you post a photo with a keycap removed? I've got a strong feeling I know which switch is in there, but it'd be cool to know for sure.

And well done on figuring out how to make it work. I'm guessing it's just regular DIN5 AT interface?

Keycap shape reminds me of FLS. Does it come with a variation of those, or maybe F-peerless?

I think so as well, I think balloon had one of these and I also remember it being rubber domes, unfortunately so. I love how it looks, it's truly a shame it's nothing interesting

Sorry!

Both are types of switches once produced by Fujitsu.

FLS stands for Fujitsu Leaf Spring. Read more about that here wiki/Fujitsu_Leaf_Spring. You'll also find an entry about Fujitsu peerless there (the F in peerless stands for Fujitsu once again) ;)

You should open it up and show the circuit board, it might have branding or model numbers

"IIRC" = "If I Remember Correctly." Some of the more popular slang, initialisms, acronyms and abbreviations can be found here.

I do agree that if you want to determine the date the keyboard was made, you're going to have to open the case. Popular places to stamp the date are on the top or bottom case and on either the front or back of the PCB. I'm going to guess mid-1980s.
