Keyboardio needs your help

Hey folks,

I've previously posted some of my 3D printed and laser-cut prototype keyboards (http://deskthority.net/workshop-f7/my-s ... t7134.html) & have mentioned that we're hard at work designing a mechanical ergonomic keyboard that we intend to ship commercially. We've brought on a mechanical engineer to help us build something much nicer than my prototype enclosures. The current plan is to go to crowdfunding this summer.

If you have strong opinions about mechanical, keyboards, ergonomic keyboards or programmable keyboards, we'd really appreciate it if you'd fill out our survey: http://bit.ly/1mhJEx9. As an added bonus, if you fill out the survey, you'll be entered into a drawing to win one of our first 10 production keyboards.

Expected results: customers want metallic Bluetooth ergo Topres for $200 or less. And no backlight?

Strong opinions on keyboards? I'm in.

Open firmware ftw!

TBH I doubt results of such survey are going to be more relevant than "vintage programmable ergonomic Korean custom Thorpe for less than $200"... isn't that what we all want?

You forgot that it also has to be MX mount! :P

As you ask:
z = x^2 + y^2
z = x^2 + y^2

Via Wolfram Alpha. The same shape water takes in a spinning glass.

I see but what's the difference with spherical ? It looks like deepdished :)

One difference is that with a parabolic surface, you could put detectors at the foci and convert your keyboard into a radio telescope. With a 60% keyboard, we might call it the VSA (Very Small Array). ;)

I'd rather want a Metabolic keyboard :D
