I'm looking for a German shop where I can test and buy ergonomic keyboards. Ideally not only the "simple" ones by Microsoft et al., but also the more "serious" ones by Maltron, Kinesis or even something like an ultimate hacking keyboard.

Any recommendations? Preferably somewhere along the axis Berlin, Dresden, Leipzig, Erfurt, Fulda, Frankfurt.

I think it would be a good idea to contact for example kinesis directly and ask them who their authorized dealers are in Germany.

ich könnte in Leipzig innenstadt-nah, mal eine Iris anbieten zu testen. Die wird noch von einem Freund programmiert. Hat Cherry MX-Silver-Switches und Keycaps von einer Marquardt Mini-Ergo. Ich habe Teile für eine weitere Iris. Falls Interesse bestünde, kann ich sie nach Wunsch zusammenbauen (z.B. mit Alps-Switches). ALLERDINGS ist das Layout sehr gewöhungsbedürftig. Die Tasten sind liniear übereinander. Sehr ungewohnt. Ich habe allerdings einen Freund auch einfach mal so fließend darauf schreiben sehen - ohne Vorbereitung. Aber da muss man sich wohl schon richtig drauf einlassen..

Sorry for the necroesque post. I bought a Kinesis Freestyle from these people years ago and they sell a wide range of ergo boards. Not sure what their 'shop' (if any) has on offer, though.
