Awesome that sounds good! These items will probably not hit retail for sales but we also do have qty for shops to display and use.. :)

When I click on the link to the EU store I get an error:

NOT FOUND

The page you were looking for appears to have been moved, deleted or does not exist.

This is most likely due to:

An outdated link on another site
A typo in the address / URL

I'd love to buy this tester too, and the discount is a great idea. The page is gone for me too though, and even the Google cached version lists it as out of stock.

CM Bram, good Sir, any news on what's happened to this nifty item's store listing? :)

I just bought the tester; cute little thing. One problem though, I am color blind. Can someone tell me what the colors are. Maybe top row first, left-to-right, then the bottom row. I can guess what some of the switches are, but some… no.

People seem to be having trouble finding a source for this thing. I ordered one from Cooler Master and I had it in three days. Just go to Cooler Master and order item #SGK-1010-BBCA1…“Mechanical Key Switch Demo Board.”

Price: $15 plus$1.90 shipping.

Make that shipping a good deal more, over here in Europe! I think the shortage is all this side of the sea.

Different countries different rules and companies for shipping therefore shipping costs in EU are higher then the US unfortunatly nothing we can do about that ... :)

Just for my info... Where would you buy this thing for?

1. For purchasing a new keyboard checking the switches to make a final choice
2. For friends and family for advising others
3. For display
4. For mod and make it functional
5. Why not? Because its cool :D?
6. Other?

2 & 3 mostly.
But I see reason #1 being very popular for people who do not already own a mechanical keyboard or have never tried it, good luck finding that on DT. :)

Everyone's a noob at the start. I bought Mr. Interface's switch sampler box to try out the MX family as much as for its rarities. I'm glad I did. There's an entire collector's career in there!

Plenty of people show up on DT routinely, seeking switch advice. This tester is the obvious answer to their questions. Keep 'em coming!

You need to add a low-cost postage option for the tester, I can understand UPS as a choice for most high value items, but €11.96 shipping for a €13.95 item is a bit crazy!

There was something wrong with the shipping rates from UPS on our store but that should have been fixed now... However the situation in EU is different then the US where in EU it might be multiple carriers multiple countries and maybe customs... So not as easy and therefore cheap as might be in the US.... You can also bundle with other purchases from the store to split out the shipping costs over more items.. :)

Unfortunatly nothing I can do..

There is no customs between EU countries, but that's limitation of having the store in Switzerland for tax reasons I suppose, your not quite in the eu.

I only ask as your shipping page says small low coat items will be sent Swiss post:
http://www.cmstore.eu/payment-shipping-and-returns/

"Swiss Post non traceable freight is an extra service which is much more attractive for small, light weight and cheaper products/parts, delivery times thru Europe vary from 1-4 weeks depending on country."

But the keyboard tester checkout has no cheap post option...

EDIT: or another page on the website suggests your in Eindhoven?
Cooler Master BV
Lodewijkstraat 1B
5652AC, Eindhoven
The Netherlands

No taxes from The Netherlands to EU (why my employer has warehouse there), must be alternate to UPS for small items like a tester kit surely?

Yes actually since monday this week we moved to Eindhoven indeed... About the switch testers and fitting small cheap transportation is indeed true.. It ships with a carton display design arround it (EU only first batch). For new stock we have coming in it will ship as just the tester. I will check with the store about the shipping :)

I just tried ordering a tester today from the EU store. Shipping to Denmark was set to be €13.something for a €13.95 product. Seems a bit up there.

This was my complaint, I still want one once they sort the shipping! Lets hope they have settled into Eindhoven in the last few weeks and are ready to offer a more cost effective shipping option for the tester...
