I am looking for a hardware mixer for my windows sounds. I sort of want it to look like a digital sound board. Any ideas?

I am not sure what you mean ? Do you want to control all apps via an external mixer ? With one app per channel? I am not sure if that is possible.

It sounds like you want a control surface. These normally only control audio levels in DAWs, but there may be some software out there that they can interact with to control your windows mixer.

No idea if Power Mixer works with the above suggestion, but it can at least map audio channels to keyboard or mouse shortcuts. A keyboard shortcut to select channel then mouse wheel to control volume doesn't sound awful.

Or there's Roccat power grid which is a smartphone app.

So cool, would never known that something like that existed in the Commodore era!

Fellow DT User Madhias wrote about something similar a while back. Seems to work straight out of the box!
