Kensington Slimblade – one button won't click

I bought a second hand Kensington Slimblade a couple of weeks ago. Used to work fine until today. Now the lower left button – the standard click by default – just stopped working. I tried to open up the trackball and re-assembled it. The button was working again for some hours... now it's gone again. What can I do about this? Of course I have three working buttons left and I can reprogram click to one of them, but it's annoying nonetheless.

Is there a possibility of desoldering it?

Maybe so. Each button has a microswitch soldered to the pcb. But even if it's possible, I don't have tools or ability to do it. :(

Would anyone fix this for me? I think I could ship the trackball without the ball in a small envelope. And of course I would pay or trade something for repair!

After five days not working, apparently it has resurrected by itself and works fine now! Wtf!? I hope it's going to last.
