:-)
He would simply post 10 times as much

Lol I didn't know you could do that, but it seems like a good compromise for you guys. 1 hour is a bit harsh, you could do half that and still have the same effect.

Just spotted this sub forum. Nice one webwit, it's a quacking thing you've done for keyboard enthusiasts all sides of the pond!

Ripster can't post here though, 'cause he's permabanned from GH, right?

ROFL, I was wondering why my Bridge Over The River Kwai vid was deleted.

And why can't you guys stay on Topic?

My submission. It's lovely. Would look even BETTER if my avatar had "Number One Keybord Expert On The Planet" under it.

He can post, he was the first refugee. But webwit's throttling his posts to find a happy balance.

Yes, good point.

webwit should also refrain from posting here.

Congrats with the relaunch!

I'll be closing the refugee camp over the weekend, either by moving topics to (mostly) Offtopic and Marketplace, or simply by moving the subforum somewhere deeper, such as under Offtopic or a to be created Archive section.

Lock the forum so nobody can post. Leave it there for reference or to be used the next time. In a week or so ;)

This is all very tempting...

But I believe in the wither and die method. For example, if we merge and float topics into Offtopic, they will slowly disappear from view while still being available for whatever reference needs. And if a topic remains active, there's still a need for it.
