Matias new switches, the only one who had the courage to propose something new

Next year I might be able to enter the switch I'm designing  .

But some recent switches I've been liking:
  • Clicky Fujitsu Leaf Spring
  • Clicky Vintage Marquardt (clickiest switch I've tried, very tactile, quite similar to beam spring, and I have a working keyboard with them)

MX Green. A classic finally getting the recognition it deserves.

Hope we can get our hands on Matias's new switches soon!

Vote for clicky blue alps here. :)

So will the old ones like BS and all colours of Cherries be present? ;D

Gonna have to vote for capacitive buckling spring here. Low preload, moderately high peak force, excellent tactility, excellent smoothness (on the switch, that is), and a pleasant noise.

Ergo-Clears. My personal favorite for typing and I hope Cherry will produce it officially soon...

I don't see how they can, they're not consistent enough on return.

Robin said he will discuss the possibility of a switch like ergo clears with the german cherry folks, so I have my hopes up as well...if not exactly what we call ergo-clears, it could be the soft tactile switch weve been hoping for.

I hereby nominate the MXLOCK the switch of the year 2012!

The ideal switch for gaming and repetitive tasks.

I'll be the "regular guy" that will suggest "Cherry MX Brown".

The ease of force they have, as well as the tactility makes it easy for "newcomers" to transition from a regular keyboard to a mechanical one.

A well-liked switch around the world, from "newcomers" to "veterans", with barely any disadvantages, if any.

I can only say I've tried most cherry switches and buckling springs.
Would have to put my vote down for MX green.
For those who love the noise of blues but have heavy typing fingers.

Vintage linear MX whites, found in typewriters. They seem to be a better choice than blacks and reds in my opinion, even though I can't confirm this since I've yet to try them out myself.
