Keyboardio are best known for their Model 01 or 100 wooden split boards with custom shaped keys. I have no experience with those but own a couple of that firm's Atreus and find them to be well made. The Atreus was another hobbyist design that Keyboardio made available off the peg.
The Preonic is also a gateway to that firm's Kaleidoscope firmware and its associated Chrysalis graphical web based configurator. I think this compares favourably to QMK and ergonomic keyboard reviewer Xah Lee has said "the keyboardio firmware, and features, is the best of all possible out there."
