oh wow ... is that a sign of Topre getting closer to the community ? that bottom row makes me think so at least !

that's a very nice keyboard, I'm hopeful about the future of Topre (though I still prefer the old bezeled Realforce (maybe you can case-swap ?)

yep, this is a first for the realforce line. the 'standard' bottom row will definitely be something to look for in the future. The official meetup hosted by PFU and Topre is set to start in less than 2 hours, so we might learn more then. extra pictures:

So they gave up on the 104 keyed version, how abysmal.

Another so-called Great Keyboard manufacturer giving us oldies the 'bird' when it comes to offering a REAL keyboard.

Also 45g, is fine for limp-wristed gimps, where are the 55g models?

They should also supply some custom keyboards using 60g and 70g switches, then you'll have me cheering them on but for now naaa, not interested in the current design or with their limpy-switches  .

Nice to see ongoing production and/ potential changes.

Full-size rf with big ol' round bezels are still king though, I must agree.

Any changes for the HHKB?

none yet, but PFU mentioned they would take into account/consider any suggestions made at the meetup.

C'mon PFU, take that HHKB BT, remove the booty, make it wired and put a USB-C port on it!

Ah good good. Someone needs to suggest they make the walls thicker by a few mm. Add some thickness to the base or similar :D

I didn't think that PFU would ever be selling Realforces. Kinda odd.
I wonder if Topre will do their own ANSI Realforce R2 TKL at some point...I'll have to do another Realforce wiki page update over the weekend as I still haven't added the initial R2 RKL models yet.

in my book it's an improvement. i don't like too thick bezels..
i would say no thicker then "Norbauer case"...

detachable cable..And add sum white smd leds (for those late night typing sessions ..just to have sum nice under glow..
i mean why not you can always opt to turn it off...

But i still prefer my FC660C with Hasu controller nothing beats that keyboard...size + arrow cluster and programmable what more would you need..??

Oh wow, that's nearly my ideal Topre. If only it had MX-compatible sliders and RGB backlighting (an admittedly dumb feature I cannot seem to give up)
