The Hexgears X-1 Wireless Low Profile Keyboard Kickstarter Is Live

Good news everyone! I'm still alive and kicking — I've been exploring other interests while working for Kono Store (which still keeps me involved with keyboards).

Nice to see you back. That's actually an intriguing design, but something I don't think I'd be interested in. How different is the keyfeel from a standard Apple wireless keyboard (that this was obviously designed similar to)?

But on a serious note, 2 questions.
1. Does it include the carrying case? There doesn't seem to be any mention of it other than the picture.

2. What version of the Kailh switches are these? The PG1350 or the slightly smaller PG1232?

I'm kind of interested for the switches, but the not really a fan of the fn key position.

Is the unit pictured an early prototype? (I ask because, IMNAAHO, the layout has several defficiencies)

For a Prototype, it looks far better than most keyboards being sold in shops.

Thus far my minions haven't seen this keyboard yet, hence I'm still hoping they'll miss seeing it and avoid harassing me in buying another round of keyboards for them .

There are a few people that put out *really good* prototypes. I'm amazed at some of the prototypes Thesis gets made.
