ZSA Technology Labs, the company behind ErgoDox EZ (factory-made ErgoDox), has finally released a new ergonomic keyboard with a slightly updated layout. It's called Moonlander.

Compared to ErgoDox,
  • it moves to 1u keycaps across the main section (like ErgoDash, Lily58 etc.);
  • the thumb clusters are completely different (sort of similar to ReDox): 3× vertical 1.5u keys and 1× horizontal 2u above them (proprietary shape);
  • most importantly, the thumb clusters are also on a separate module with adjustable tilt—like the old Acidfire's project.
It's available in black or white, with solderless switch sockets, backlight,…

The price tag is $365… Yikes.

Cool that they have put the thumb clusters separate on a hinge. Too bad that they kept the shallow column-staggering.

I can't see any height adjustment other than the one on the side. Is there one more?
Non-standard stabilisers on the "house"-shaped thumb-key?

Hmm... the web site induces sea sickness.
