Great, now I'm tempted to buy more obscure Alps stuff! Perhaps try linearizing them and putting in heavier springs?

Probably easier and cheaper to just buy NOS SKCL yellow xD .

I think you forgot to mention that the board is PCB mounted, but whatever. Finally got to see a review of this board hahaha

Alps-like switches with a low activation force? Where can I get one of these?

I just got a couple of these with the linear white switches (typing on it right now). They are pretty smooth, not bad at all.
