Actually, I wasn't going to because there is already a thread on this type of keyboard but it looks like there is no corresponding wiki page. That's disappointing. Looks like I will be taking pics when it arrives.

Well just so you know I'd be disappointed if you don't show us any more, wiki or forum post. :evilgeek:

Those were announced in french part and somewhere else I figure, I've called the seller about 2 weeks ago and was lucky he finish to accept to send me part of the lot (I lived somewhere around his location once, that helped me  ).
Anyway first beamspring and an azerty one, I'm really happy with this one !
WP_20161010_11_52_29_Pro.jpg
Crappy pics from roomate's phone, mine isn't smart at all.
WP_20161010_11_53_02_Pro.jpg
The others are 2 bigfoot's XT with one in some box that is quite destroyed but seems to be fair new and dirty as hell ( suspect box stayed open for a long while ).
WP_20161010_11_54_03_Pro.jpg
WP_20161010_11_52_42_Pro.jpg
And the big daddy dirt as the rest
WP_20161010_11_53_14_Pro.jpg
Will certainly get rid of the XTs for a very fair price(what costs me).
Nothing keyboard related but I also get this that I've got for few bucks and a smile..
The right one I opened myself to clean its Beyerdynamic M81 a very fine vintage one, the others too BTW ;)
WP_20161010_16_17_16_Rich.jpg
And finally a mysterious NICOLS turntable that seems to be old(70's or 80's) high end stuff, the plate is heavy as hell..

Sorry about long post and again for bad pics quality, but I share the proper camera with others and so don't have it always !
the holy grail :O

Yea, me neither. The potato cam doesn't show it, but the case yellowed pretty unevenly. Other than that, it does seem to be in a decent condition.

I would say that it is branded, as Alps, i.e. it looks like this could be an off-the-shelf version. I don't recall seeing an off-the-shelf Bigfoot though. The off-the-shelf model that comes to mind is the LCM30:

photos-f62/alps-bigfoot-keyboard-toshib ... 16994.html

That example proves a ≥ 1996 date for white damped, as the year is written on the PCB. However, white damped was supposedly still produced as late as ~2001 (if I remember correctly, since it's not documented).

This PCB is a bit older:

Most of those have controller ICs with no date codes — all the codes are identical regardless of who made the chip. Yours however may have a 9544 date code, which is fairly consistent with the PCB, but by the better part of a year. Now, alps.tw has a Bigfoot keyboard with the same PCB code as Scarface's, yet the serials are a long way apart. I'm wondering whether those PCBs were made in huge batches, since the PCB code really does seem to indicate the month of production (here, January 1995).

Yours is the original expected year for white damped, of 1995.

A friend ordered a bunch of them a while back, I'm not sure what type of shipping he used. Guess I can ask and get back to you.

A Shield TV and a Pi? Both for emulation?

User avatar

Actually the Shield replaces the Pi and I bought it mainly for it's media playing capabilities. I do plan to play with it's other features. Thinking about ordering one of these kits : https://shop.smartthings.com/smartthings-link and do some smart stuff :)

Hello everbody! I have been lurking for a while now already and finally decided to share this german layout f122 I got on ebay 2 months ago. Promicro hasn't arrived yet so I had no opportunity to test it, but its condition looks fairy good at least.

Today, I bought my third BTC 5140 and my first RollerMouse at a flea market, from the same seller.
The seller had also a NMB-made AppleDesign Keyboard in good condition that I skipped on.

The BTC was bought primarily for keycaps, as most are Cherry MX-compatible and in Swedish layout.
The RollerMouse was, I think a first-gen with button above the scroll wheel.

That's not shameless at all. I got this Siemens TA-BS/1200 for cheap I'll do a full teardown when it gets here:

Just surprised at it's near pristine condition.

Either it's been sitting somewhere unused since it was delivered to someone or it's NIB number brought out for show that it still works after all these years.

Good to see ancient tech still beating, despite using now defunct internal caps prone to leaking and bursting :D .

Acer, they use to build them tough ;) .

Bought just the keyboard though. Kinda shame, but really didn't need another 286 sitting around as a paperweight. But judging from it's state, I would guess a store exhibition piece. It wasn't stored in a box since the case slightly yellowed (not as much as this picture would suggest). Barely used if used at all. Didn't bother to clean it yet, just checked if it's working. Still has the dust cover. May take some pictures later.

Oh and it's model 6012 not KB-102
By the way. Anybody know why the German layout has additional labels (2,3) on number keys respectively?
