Looks nice... The bezel reminds me a lot of the Apple M0110. Any chance it was inspiration?

I would love to say it was, but I really didn't think of the similarities before after I had designed the case.

Now the M0110 suddenly looks lovely again because of this new prototype.

That looks awful....I'd grab one in dark grey! Any info on the pricing yet?
And a small worry: The edges seem sharp, and anodising is not very durable in such geometries. Did you get the opportunity to do any testing in that regard?

Yeah dark grey will be available. Pricing will be around $200 and the anodizing is not going to be a problem on the sharp edges.

I joined this forum so that I could post in this thread. I usually stick to /r/mk, but damn if this isn't a beautiful case. I want to be in that group of 20! Congratulations on making such a beautiful board, LeandreN!

Thanks. And welcome to Geekhack. There will be more than 20 the first round.

The samples are not for sale as they aren't finished products. They have some flaws.

Really nice. I'd probably try and go for it if I didn't have my Hammer case already.
I might be really tempted if you consider a case mounted plate (and high profile) at some point. That would be something new for me.

Looking good man. The pattern cut into the recess of your backwards K logo is crazy. I love the detail there.

You somehow manage to make the weight look just as appealing from the outside as it is on the inside of the case with this design, which is something very few cases accomplish. Very nice, man.

Looks good, when you thinking of putting it up for sale?

I am thinking about starting the group buy now. I promised not to start it before I had planned by Round 5 group buy, which consist of a lot of waiting, so I am thinking I will run this while we wait. Just need the new prototypes.

I have a bunch of questions:

1. what PCB will you be using?
1.2. is it the one from this image?
2. does it support split spacebar?
3. does it come cut LED holes above the switch?

This is a GB for a case only.

What pcb will be compatible with this case ?

Most custom 60% PCBs should fit. I am still testing, and might have to do some compromises in terms of poker compability due to the larger plate
