With so many rows I can't get the MOQ for them all... 8-)
Thanks.

More and more kits!
Impressive!
Will you be done before the sale ends?

Loving the ERGOBASE kits! Thanks for adding them!

My only concern is that they won't meet the MOQ since they're not huge volume sellers. What happens if I get an ALPHA and an ERGOBASE but only part of my order hits MOQ? Am I stuck with a partial set? Or am I able to get a redund?

Yes, it never ends and nobody can resist forever

The catholic church rewrote something when they heard about Round 5a:
wrath, greed, sloth, pride, lust, envy, gluttony and keyboard madness.

I'm quite sure I will extend it for one week.

I have send my second order to the bot a few minutes ago. Can I assume, that the price for this order will be 25% off? :?:

It's too bad the grey function keys [HONEYB/F1TOF12/GREY] are GPA.

Still looks sweet without alternating function colors, maybe even better in a minimalist design sort of way.
Image
(red escape key from my other order)

[HONEYB/TKL/SPH] (TKL blue/grey kit | $129)
[HONEYB/ISO/BLUE] (ISO kit in blue | $12)
[HONEYB/NUMPAD/SPH] (Numpad grey/blue kit | $39)
[HONEYB/SPACE625/SPH] (Space (6.25 units; grey) | $6)
[HONEYB/UK/GREY] (UK kit in grey | $12)

But goddamn, that's 200 buckaroos. $198 to be exact.
[EDIT] Forgot about the 25% off deal, doesn't really change the rest of the post.[/EDIT]

What is the resell value for a virgin semi-custom high profile spherical double shot keycap set these days? Because I think I'm fonder of the space cadet colors and I only have one keyboard that has Cherry switches.
Also money doesn't exactly grow on my back.

Btw. 7bit, what do you think about a stepped capslock key for Round 5a?

Why HONEYB/UK/GREY when there is HONEYB/UK/SPH?
And stepped Caps Lock are there!

I guess I should really check that list more often.
Also good catch on the grey vs sph UK keys, that could have been embarrassing.

Should I go with alternating colors for the F-row by buying that extra kit, or go with the alternate color for the insert and delete rows by getting the symbol kit. Both are $16 and I can only choose one, so I need help deciding.

Any chance to have this kit ?

Code: Select all

HONEYB/F1TOF12/SPH
I mean F-row in SPH grey

Personally I would go with the alternating F-row but it's certainly a matter of taste... If I did go for a different colored nav-block I would get matching arrow keys as well.

Why don't you try the layouts and colors out in http://www.keyboard-layout-editor.com/. Proper SA color swatches are available... WASD keyboards custom order form also work decently well for a quick test, but the colors aren't necessarily accurate...

Maybe I should generate a PNG graphic for every key in every color and write a little script that puts them together according to a simple input file ...
:o

... and generates a list what you have to order to get all these keys.

Nice idea! Well, as long as it doesn't calculate too much sets on purpose. ;)

I guess I need to make my mind up and order something. Or is it too late for the autumn sale already?

Image
That looks so good... oh wait, didn't I already order one of those?

Image
Ahhh... but what will my 122 think?

 Maybe the best approach is to buy all the BFP keys

I think I was dreaming about something like this with a keyboard-layout-editor-esque interface. Pick the keys from the kits, drag 'n' drop on to your keyboards, and PM the orderlist to the bot. ...Did I already post this?

Posted: 29 Sep 2014, 19:27
by 7bit
Well it could calculate all possible combinations and find the cheapest one. It is just a bit of graph theory.

Well, hold tab to cycle through lists of hundreds of keys, then hold down a couple of modifiers and move it to position it with the arrow keys.

Or, send in the keyname with co-ordinates one by one over SSH, and on session termination, an ASCII art render on greenbar is automatically mailed to the shipping address the bot has 8-)
