I don't think so, only the stuff you ordered (and payed?) within the deadline. 7bit tends to extend his deadlines an unknown number of times.
Right, deadline for the 25% rebate is at 2016-12-31 23:59:59.99 your local time ;-)

Still hasn't been answered or found in the FAQ ;)

Finally got around to placing an order. This is the craziest GB format I've ever seen. Can't wait to see these caps . . . in a couple years.

It is a test. You only deserve these caps if you're crazy enough! Still lucky. It is rumored that in earlier years you had to code your orders in Perl to 7bot.

Ok so I got my invoice from the bot. I just want to make sure I'm paying correctly: the bot asked me to pay via google wallet to an email address. I know recently 7bit has gotten some helpers to take PayPal payments and that was a big issue here so I just want to make sure that making the payment via google wallet is the correct way to pay. Please advise.

Anyone? I have money in my hand, just want to be sure I'm throwing it in the right direction.

Just be aware that depending on the color scheme you pick it might take 2 years for your caps to arrive from now. You will be very happy when they arrive but don't run around crying when it takes forever to ship. Crazy GBs like this one take production schedule to a whole new level.

If you are aware of that, go ahead and pay.

Just limited to US folks

Is it added somewhere in the wiki in what orders the schemes will be made?

Depends on which color is the most popular. I think 7bit had a number of orders for a color at which he would try and get it produced

Ah ok, so its like roulette.

Don't think so, read a little backlog of this thread. I believe 7bit gave some hints which colors sell best.

You can also ask 7bot for a list of ordered items. The list below your order shows how many of each kit have been ordered.
My money is on blue!

Hello, I have a question about this GB! (I'm new to DT, coming from Reddit/GH for the DT Awards and now interested in Round 7)

How will the package be marked value wise? I'm asking this because I'm from the EU (AUT) and Import fees are kind of a dealbreaker (120% of item price incl. shipping + tax)... :/

Thanks for your help in advance!!!

7bit ships out of Germany so, for once, you have nothing to worry about!

I've already ordered (and paid up) but I have a question: is this GB being run independent of Rounds 5/6 ? In other words will this ship only after the previous rounds have been completed or will the order go through when it's funded regardless of the state of the other rounds ?

Did some renders for all the colorways, I'm considering getting the violet set so I wanted to get a better impression of how it might look like IRL

I have a couple questions though,
#1 these ship from Germany if I got that right? I live in Germany myself so it would be a nice to not pay import duties for a change.
#2 How come there is only blue and gray for the Numpad kits? I was wanting to snatch the VIOLET ALGOL TKL, might as well get the properly themed alphas, plus it would save a bit compared to the fullsize set.
#3 Ctrl and Alt are switched on the RGB sets, or is that intentional? For the renders I kept the colors like in the 2D previews, but placed them the keys most people will have them

Some clarification question: what's the exact difference between jumping in Round 7 before Dec-31st vs after Dec-31st?

Does jumping in before Dec-31st mean that I will pay more first but eventually (like at the end of 2017 or after the production is completed) 7bit will give me back a 25% of what I paid ("25% rebate")?
Or does it mean that I am just paying less (like 25% off from the original price) before Dec-31st?

You will see the 25% off immediately on the invoice the 7bit bot sends you, so you are paying less now.

Question about the "grey" in Round 7 vs Round 6:

On the FAQ page about "Will these match with keys from previous rounds?", it's written:
"Legends ... the legends won't match. Colours remain the same for BLUE, VIOLETT and CREAM. GREY is different."

There are two "grey" in Round 6: "GREY" and "SPH".
Between "GREY" and "SPH", which one is more similar to Round 7's "GREY"? Or even 'matches'? :o

Edit: found the color codes - Round 6 "GREY" is WFK on GPA, Round 6 "SPH" is WV on GD, and Round 7 "GREY" is (a different) WFK on GDC. These greys are all quite different although may look similar on renders. GDC seems to be closer to the caps on the original Space-cadet keyboard.

I'm not very fond of doing things like this publicly, but since my PMs dont get any response I guess I'm left with no option. I really don't like internet drama… Oh well, screw it. Here goes.

In October I paid for my R7 order. But the bot kept sending me invoices saying I hadn't paid, and the deadline for the rebate drew closer (should have anticipated that it would be pushed back, silly me). Looking through my transfer history, I couldn't see any outgoing payment to 7bits account. I assumed I had just messed up the initial payment somehow, and made a second transfer. But apparently my bank's web page was just acting up (they're trying out some kind of beta of their 'new and improved internet bank experience'). And now I have something like 238 USD in excess funds. That's of course on me. Or, well, on my bank I guess. And I can live with having to wait a while for that money, as long as I get it back. But 7bit has had my bank info for over a month now, and nothing happens.

I get that things can be forgotten. But when I send two reminders through PMs, and see that they are read but still don't get any money and not even a response, then I think it's fairly reasonable to become either annoyed or slightly worried. Annoyed, because if there really is no time to get it done at the moment (unlikely, since it takes a few minutes tops) then just saying so in a PM is what you'd expect someone to do. Worried, because it makes me wonder if the reason I get neither money nor response is that the money's not there anymore, but has gone into paying for R6 shipping or some other shenanigans.

I'm not trying to get out of paying for stuff I've ordered, nor cancel anything. I just want money back that was sent by mistake. I've sunk a few hundred dollars into R5–7 – I think that makes me entitled to at least a response, no? And if this is indicative of how things are managed when there's a slip-up, then maybe i should just jump ship on this whole R7 thing. Because a GB like this is built on trust and reciprocity, and honestly those two are quickly eroding as far as I'm concerned. If for some reason the money is not there to be transferred, I'd at least like to know.

As a reference for the "shades of grey" used in Round 4, Round 5, Round 6, and Round 7 (GDC):

Is there any plan for future release of POS kits in Round 7 like the HONEYB/HYPER7/POS?
