We are working on it ...
Is it possible to know what's blocking the refund? Almost 2 months have gone by since my refund request.

Along these same lines. I sent a REFUND message to 7bot awhile back now and just want to be sure I've done everything I need to on my end. I understand that it's a process.

Sorry for not posting for such a long time!

But I had a lot of other things to do.

If you still want to order from the bot, sadly the notification emails no longer contain any content. Since the bot has no login system at its website, the only way to order is via encrypted email. Within a few days, I will set something up, so you can message the bot via email.

I'm still waiting for my refund (requested on 3rd October), I've been waiting for more than 3 months, what can possibly be causing such a huge delay?

The forum update broke 7bot.

Aaand the PayPal collection / refund system 7bit uses (based on volunteers) is always a rollercoaster at the best of times.

After all this time that’s not really a good excuse.

I'm interested in Round 7 and hoping it still goes ahead! Will submit an order once the bot is up and running again.

I am saving up money to finally join Round 7 in 2019 soon - it's a long long group buy but it seems like I can wait, like quite some members here.

Let's see if 7bot can still exist in some form or that we can go with the simple but not as cool and convenient e-mail solution.

@7bit any updates on the status of 7bot and how you will be taking orders and sending out invoices in the future?

@7bit can you please issue the refund I asked for 4 months ago?

@7bit - Same here, I requested a refund 5 months ago and would love an update!

Requested one in July 2017 :p

Got a private message from 7bot about using gnupg-encrypted email and a toolkit. Has anyone gotten this to work? I try running setup, and it asks me for a passphrase. I try entering the passphrase I've added to config.val, I tried the one that came in the PM, and nothing works.

@7bit

Man I understand you might be busy, but after 5 months of silence regarding my refund it would be nice to have my money back. I trusted you by funding your round, but unfortunately I need my money back and it would be nice if you could l show some respect for people being part of your community by taking at least the time to provide a clear explanation regarding a 5 months delay for a refund and moreover to honor such request. Honestly I don’t think we’re asking too much here, are we? I’ve been very patient, but this silence is just getting upsetting at this point.

Obviously this GB has gone the way of the dodo, but does any one know a source (font) for the symbols used? I am talking about the Insert/Home/PageUp etc. function keys ... it'd be an elegant solution to an issue I'm having in a multi-language environment ...

I’ve been waiting for my refund for 6 months now.
Why are we getting no feedback?
@7bit, did you flee with our money or what?

I believe 7bit drew them up himself (in some graphics application) and had them made as custom legends via SVG files.

Hm ... I had hoped for a more readily available font, or even some Unicode code point I didn't know about, but 'tis what it is. Thanks for the clarification!

@zslane, as a collector do you have any idea of why the refund requests are just being totally ignored?

I have no idea. I have not heard from 7bit in quite some time. I asked to have the funds I collected transferred to an active collector but he never responded. I am left to conclude that the GB is suspended for the time being and that refunds aren't likely to be released any time soon.

Let's not jump to conclusions. 7bit looked happy and relaxed at Mechanicon in Frankfurt last year. Maybe he's just busy.

So busy that in 6 months he couldn't drop a single message to explain the situation? Sorry that is really hard to believe, especially right after getting to know that he had the time to implement the new 7bot communication system.

Wow, I've been away from this thread for what seems like forever, and I come back here to...nothing? I don't want a rebate, I'd just like the GB to move forward for some violettcream goodness.
