Why include 6,25 and 6u space bars? I need a 7u spacebar for my WKL setup as most other people do.

Devlin can't do 7u spacebars. I could also source 7u from SP if really required.

Yeah it seems strange that you would include 1.5u mods and not a 7u spacebar. It's kind of a deal breaker for the extra pack in my eyes.

OK I'll add one :D

Is there any limit on the number of sets available in the buy?

by UKKeycaps
No! I removed that restriction as me and Devlin negotiated. You may not be able to purchase a set after the group-buy ends though.

Hells yes. I was a little worried as I probably won't be able to purchase until next week :). Super hyped about these.

What is the actual color of this set? Black or dark-grey?

LOL someone PLEASE make an ISO enter in that profile. You've got to mix THREE profiles to get the keys together ...

Anyway, ordered. Gotta support new manufacturers. Just hope this one isn't another BSP. I'm expecting new molds in future buys :)

At £4k+ for a precision mold, it's going to take a bit of work to get all the keys for this profile.

One at at time ... maybe starting with ISO Enter? ISO-UK also needs it ;)

Right now we are using the a replacement enter that is already a replacement enter ...

Another big question regarding doubleshot molds, are those 4kGBP for a new key size/profile or for a new legend?

It seems this makes a big difference for other companies. GMK never made Row-A molds in 1.25U but is currently pissing out new legends for existing keys like never before.

Even better with SP, they keep making all-new alphanumeric legend molds for single sets at hardly any markup while still refusing to make a proper ISO enter mold after hundreds of DCS enter have been sold as DSA ...

4k+ for new key shape. £400 for custom legend blocks

I see, very cool insight! Really excited for this first set then, depending on how much I like it I might keep bugging you about a nice ISO Enter mold.

Well I guess the 6.25u space bar mold is a little higher up on the list but those two would be great investments should this turn out to be a great profile.

How many single legends are in one legend block?

Maybe a stupid question, but since I'm trying to get some matching modifiers for this keyset in DSA could you tell me which of the Signature Plastic pbt colors are the closest to the final keyset?

The hex code for the colour is #E26B0A

Using that I'll let you choose the closest match :D The keycaps in this buy are ABS btw.

hehe damn, I hoped I could delegate the interpretation of the (not always THAT accurate) Signature Plastics color chips ;)
But thank you a lot for the hex code!

No problem, to help further here are several images of the colour:

Thank you, that makes it even clearer. Seems like OAL comes pretty close, respectively OAS for ABS.

Just wondering if you guys know why I'm not able to order this using Paypal credit? Everywhere else I look keeps telling me that it means whoever I'm buying from hasn't allowed it, which is unfortunate since I'd very much like to order this set but don't have other payment methods available at this time.

I haven't chosen any option to not allow this. Apologies if it's not working. Stripe is also available.

any chance for plank or preonic add on ?

I asked through email, but I thought maybe this is something, which could be of interest for more people: I've ordered the TKL-base-kit. Now I would like to order the numpad too. Is this possible without paying the shipping twice?

I've answered your email but for everyone else - if you want to add to your existing order and you're outside UK, use the contact form on the website to send an email!

any possibilities for blank caps? Custom formats would love to get some 1.75 blanks for split space bars

Last month I bought a mechanical keyboard for £27.99 and today I am spending twice that on replacement keycaps. :-P

Economies of scale :D There may be 50,000+ of your keyboard made but it looks like there'll be around 150 of this keyset made!

Don’t worry, I’m not complaining, just amused. Actually, it makes perfect sense to spend most on the part of the board I will be interacting with the most. :-)

What sort of scale would you need before the cost of making new legends becomes reasonable?

New legends aren't too bad, but still pricey - in the future a popular group-buy on MechSupply could probably afford to have a couple new legends (Super, meta, hyper etc)

New keysizes (iso enter, 6.25u) are very expensive, business would have to be very good to make purchasing the molds for these keys viable.
