Unfortunately, a good percentage of base Alps buyers will probably cancel their order if the int/compat kit doesn't tip, which will cause further complications for the base kit reaching MOQ.

Currently I am going to keep the buy open until MX compat and alps base both tip. Alps compat will need to see big numbers in that time if there is hope for that set.

Indeed, this is the unique opportunity to get a custom keycap set for Alps with international support.

There's not way of filling an Ergodox with this as far as I can see. Am I correct? I like the set, but don't know yet which board I'd use it on.

yes you can fill an ergodox with the base kit and the compatibility/international kit together.
it's not cheap and you ending up with many unused keycaps.

The buy is extended to the end of the month and all kits will be made. It is pricey to get both the base and compat, but you should be able to cover a wide array of boards with it.
