some of you may know about the little drama around the WhiteFox. Long story short MD and IC disagrees on who owns what, who should do what, and blah blah blah.

I stayed out of it... but I must say I was kinda happy when Input Club told me that we were going to make the WhiteFox without Massdrop. That means, having full control over the manufacturing process, which was crucial to me.

It also means a lot of responsibility... customer care and logistics is huge part of it, that's why we had to simplify the group buy as much as possible. We reduced the number of switch options and the only available and now official layout is the True Fox.

But anyway. Long story short. We are trying kickstarter. It won't be easy, we need to sell a f&%k load of keyboards and without the huge reach that Massdrop has it will be hard... but we will try anyway.

The kickstarter is already available since a few minutes. If you want to know more you can also read my blog post about it. If you have any question don't hesitate to ask.

Best of luck on the KS, Matt3o! The WF is an excellent board with great build quality (very happy with mine). Awesome to see this offered with Halo switches.

Also thank god for the cherry stabilizers. Just PLEASE PLEASE make sure to use GENUINE Cherry MADE stabilizers and not the crappy, rattly stuff that you get with cheap China kits ...

Reminds me that I still haven't assembled my kit from last time...

So glad to see this happening and on your terms with your control. Love my White Fox and want at least one more. Purchased a few minutes ago. You’re already above $32k. I have no doubt you will reach the goal…probably in less than a week once the word gets out.

Very nice, what a Robin Hood move (Where Massdrop is the Sheriff of Nottingham).
Wish you a successful kickstart and that this will actually happen :)

The black one looks fantastic.

Cheers!

I assume that the PCB underneath has ISO support so that it could be modded with split left Shift,
but I can´t really afford one right now...

It´s just a jump to the left ...

i soooo want to join regardless of the fact that i got the k-type coming..

Still to me it's the story of David and Goliath. Trying to get from under the big MD foot..
Just wish i could be a part of the movement.. Still 34days to go who knows perhaps will see a miracle and get the option to go Vanilla yet..
Otherwise i'm still happy it's doing so well hope it get's to 150% funding and higher..

110% funded with 34 days to go! Seems now your greatest worry will be manufacturing a f&%k load of keyboards!! what a great problem to have. :D

Waited so long for a chance to buy a WhiteFox and then there is no ISO layout option... What about an EU fulfillment center with EU layout options for EU citizens? The demand seems to be great.

the demand is less than you'd think BUT as EU citizen, I'm working on it! There are a couple of interested stores in EU, hopefully we'll find a way (not for this kickstarter but for future releases)
