1. I'd be curious to know how many switches are on order for the clear types (since I ordered some)

2. If the projected time for switches is too long , can I reshuffle my order to get some normal switches instead?

I have a noobie question that, is the clear case switch with an led hole?
Because I would like to replace my KBT Race switch. Then the backlit could glow better under keycaps.
Shipping cost is too tempting here, want to order more

Not a noob question because there's been a good deal of hype, but not a lot of technical info available for the clear cases. They appear to be designed specifically for SMD LEDs, and do not have the holes for through hole components. You can see more clearly at www.cherry-professional-gaming.com.

With that said... My plan is to modify the case and use through hole LEDs. How exactly, I'm not sure--I'll have to get my hands on them first.

Oh, these are the latest clear case we're getting?
Exciting we can buy the latest Germany design in a affordable price,
but sad because for sure it couldn't fit any traditional led with it.
And ... I'm only a newbie in soldering, it's impossible for me to do that kinda advance mod

I'm also waiting for tech info about the case before I start designing my PCB. Sadly, SMD LED is not specific enough. There are many sizes and types of SMD LEDs... Wait & see, I guess

The LEDs get under the switch. There is no hole.

Is there a MOQ on the clearcase switches? Do you think if you tried real hard, you can fit a square through-hole LED inside the switch housing?
