just be careful with the Chines guys, a few months ago one of my friends bought an ibm ssk and surprise surprise the inside part # did not match the shell part #. The Chines rebuild these boards. So before selling these boards as unmodified boards, make sure to verify this.

I got sent this by a member when I was ordering mine (that I ended up getting scammed on by taobaobee).

okay, firstly,i dont know the condtition of the board until i get it, i know that some of the seller in taobao is like that, selling fakes, send the wrong package or whatever... Secondly, im just a keyboard enthusiast, i wont scam or selling fakes to all of the people.......

i can find two japanese model m but not ssk (and in yahoo auction jp, not taobao), one of it, is nib and other one is used, but the price of nib one is incredibly high, 100,000 yen, and i think this is overpriced, for the other one, is selling 15,000 yen

Tell you a skill to make it easier to find goods, make the keywords short like you want to search model m ssk than just type model m , because all of the seller don't know much english, so they will say ssk is The short version of model m......lol

It is not around 10euro worth, just 4 xD, I think my estimation is quite good

I'd say over half of the Cherry keyboards on Taobao are frankensteined together like that. This one is worth nowhere near 688 yuan, which is a bit too steep even for a real 1838.
