Ugh, those guys. Couldn't we have joined together? Those early 2000s glory days would have been some fun…

I think everybody should join the euro, after which the Netherlands and Germany will get out to start their own guildermark.

Guys we can only sell so many cars and tanks :?

How many tulips and wooden shoes for a tank?

I'd just as merrily use US Dollars, without their consent, like so much of the world anyway.

Don't suppose the Chinese government could use 5 million welfare addicted, non-multilingual, work shy, post-industrialists for something cunning? Renminbi could be handy too…

(Thanks for burying the hush hush thread! Next up, Obama…)

Our tanks can't swim very well so I think you should rather invest in some green energy.

Quack!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DD_tank
DD or Duplex Drive tanks, nicknamed "Donald Duck tanks", were a type of amphibious swimming tank developed by the British during the Second World War. The phrase is mostly used for the Duplex Drive variant of the M4 Sherman medium tank, that was used by the Western Allies during and after the Normandy Landings in June 1944.

I will buy the stabilizers off anyone if I end up not getting a spot

I too would love to buy the stabs if someone doesn't need them, although I only need 1 (already have 4 from one of these PCBs, need 5 total).

That was entertaining to watch.

Was secretly hoping people would forget about it again.

What's up with your low max. bid for a group of 10 people?

Well everyone was trying to get a good deal. I only summed our maximum bids and even replaced my and Muiriums bid with higher ones from people on the waiting list but it totalled at "just" 540 :(
Muirium wrote:For a group of 10 cheap people… (I was the cheapest of them all!)
Sorry Mu, I even swapped you with someone who was willing to pay 70 :D

Guess Ascaii's price for these switches is the actual going rate. My Nixdorf collection will remain at one, a lonely sampler.

There were, what, 1000-1200 switches in that batch? Bet the bids would have climbed higher than they did. Ebay's always down to what the second keenest buyer is willing to spend. Tinnie got to be the fallguy this time…

Those were the bids after I swapped you and me with guys on the waiting list:

Hmm. Even ten of the top only adds up to a single Tinnie. We were outgunned good and proper.
