I talked with the seller and they say they dont expect to get 3000 dollar. They want me to make a reasonable offer and they will accept but even then I cant afford one lol. Maybe they will accept a 1000$ offer or something. Still overpriced for condition tho.

This is a mega rare beamspring that deserves a high price.

Needs to be preserved in a glass container vaccum sealed, not to be typed on but admired.

He should be asking $10,000.

Luckily it did not actually sell for that price. As I was watching the item I got notified of the exact price it sold for attached is an image of the exact price ($1,554.00) sorry for the attachment being so small but just do open image and it is perfectly readable.

Holy crap! This thing actually sold for $1554? The version with numpad isn't that rare. I recall Cindy sold 2 of them to Deskthority members a few years ago.

I've got the much more rare beam spring with all-white numpad and double sized "0". The bidding starts at $10,000. :mrgreen:

Supply has all but dried up and demand is peaking. Beamsprings have been north of $1000 a pop for some time now.

A year and a half ago I saw a 5251 mint condition for sale at 800$(Comes with original terminal too!). Didn't buy it. I was thinking why would anyone pay 800 for it lol how have time changed.
