Hello Everyone! I'm extending this to a sell thread of mine.

Not selling anything atm.

Thank you all for checking my post!

Sold so far:
Spoiler:

  1. Barebones Novatouch & 107x BKE Light Bundle: The board itself is in good condition, but the case is a bit scuffed. I mean most of the value is in the sliders anyway. It does NOT include keycaps nor a usb cable. I'm going to bundle this with the BKE Light Domes because the esc, space, and enter key has BKE Light Domes and I can't be bothered to take them out after bolt-modding 2 M's. I'll include the 3 regular 45g domes I took out. $300 + Shipping
  2. Bolt-Modded & Lubed IBM Model M122 "Battleship": It is cleaned, bolt-modded, lubed, and all the keys work. I lubed each barrel with Trybosis 3203 because the keys were binding a bit. Now they all go down very smooth. Additional photos can be found here:https://imgur.com/a/bCHmQPI $170 + Shipping
  3. Bolt-Modded IBM Model M: It is cleaned, bolt-modded, and all the keys work. Additional photos can be found here: https://imgur.com/a/IiNpU06 $130 + Shipping

  1. Bolt Modded IBM Model M: Part No:1391401, Date: 02-23-90, Grey Badge. You can never go wrong with a Model M. However, I'm parting with this one because I now have a Battleship. $130 + Shipping OBO SOLD
  2. NEC PC-8801mkIISR w/ Alps SKCM Blue: I was going to harvest switches from this but I got preoccupied with other projects. They are fairly smooth? (I haven't tried that many Alps). $130 + Shipping OBOSOLD
  3. Chicony KB-5181 w/ Alps SKCM White: It's a Chicony, but the switches are actually really smooth and I've enjoyed using this a fair amount of time, torturing my coworkers with every keystroke. I cleaned the case and the keycaps before posting here. $50 + Shipping OBOSOLD
  4. Apple M0110A w/ Mitsumi Standard Mechanical (Linear): The "*" key on the numpad broke off but I still have the original keycap with the stem stuck inside it. They are fairly smooth? Cable is missing. $40 + Shipping OBO

  1. NEC PC-8801 Keyboard w/ USB Converter- $270 + shipping OBO: It has Alps SKCM Blue, Grey Switchplate. It is the smoothest Alps I have ever owned. It comes with the USB converter, but if you don't want a USB, converter, then it $220 + shippingSOLD.
  2. 70x L&F YOK Holy Panda - $85 + shipping: It actually is a combination between YOK Trash Pandas and Kailh Polia switches, but Polia switches have the same stem molds as Halo stems so it's just a holy panda. I myself would call these "Poly Pandas" lol. Anyway, the stems are lubed with Krytox GPL 205g0 with the stems spared, the springs with Krytox GPL 105, and they are filmed with TX 1.5mm films. SOLD
  3. 70x Stock Massdrop Holy Panda V1 - $65 + shipping: I bought a pack of 180 I think? It was the first ever batch that was produced by Massdrop. Used them on board but never used the rest of the switches. One is lubed with Krytox GPL 204. I wrote "Massdrop" because back when I bought it, they were still "Massdrop." SOLD
  4. Chicony KB-5181 Keyboard - $30 + shipping: It is the one branded "SIIG Suntouch", but it's actually just a Chicony KB-5181. It has White Alps and it's in OK condition (I haven't used enough Alps to give an accurate rating). SOLD
  5. Northgate Omnikey/101 - $100 + shipping: It has Alps SKBM White Switches, and they're pretty smooth. It's not super clean but it's not that dirty either. I don't know too much about the pricing of these, so if this pricing sounds unfair lmk. SOLD for $110 shipped
  6. IBM Selectric II Keycaps - $20 + shipping: Harvested from an IBM Selectric II Typewriter. I couldn't get all the keys because some were missing or broken. But, I managed to salvage whats on the Timestamp. The "Z" key is chipped so beware.SOLD
  7. ~100x Vintage MX Black? - $35 + shipping: Harvested from some old Chinese Keyboard. I thought they were vintage but they are SUPER Scratchy. I took them apart, lubed one with Krytox GPL 205g0 but its still super scratchy. So I'm just going to keep them apart and sell them here. Springs are bag lubed with Krytox GPL 105. SOLD
I know that this forum is vintage-focused, so if posting these kind of things are against the rules or something, please lmk. Also, I don't like giving rating to Alps because I feel like I haven't tried enough, and I don't know what a 10/10 or a 5/10 feels like. But if you want to know the order from smoothest to roughest in my listing, it's PC-8801 > Omnikey > KB-5181.
Thank you all for checking my post!

Thanks for being honest instead of like “in all my vast experience with 3 alps boards these are 8.8391947528/10” and GLWS. It looks awesome!

Can you send a picture of a switchplate in the NEC 8801?

I’ll buy the nec 8801 if available, and if it has black switch plates. My discord is Feeling_Gloomy#7669 if you want to talk.
