Is that foam surrounding the switches? If so, does it play any role in the feel/sound of the 'board?

I think it will probably dampen the bottoming out a bit... I did not actually get to type on these yet. Will do so later when office is more quiet.

Bet you only got it for the keycaps. I love those caps, for nostalgic reasons. Sooo Sinclair QL.

Dunno why I got it really. I guess at less than 6 Euros a board, including shipping costs there was not much to lose. Probably will send the spares to Korea.
