Cherry M9 switches

Nobody bought my Cherry M9 keyboard unit and today it fell on the ground AGAIN and the V key broke off and the stem got stuck in the keycap, so I decided to salvage what's salvageable and desolder the switches with a soldering iron and toothpicks. These are the ones I desoldered so far.
Also, Haha! Now I can take pictures just as nice as you fancypants thanks to my new bankers lamp!

Well, shit, the pictures on the Wiki kinda looked like M7 so I thought that they were the one.

Well, I'm happy to buy some switches off you, as I only have two M9 types. I've let UncleFan know too as he'll be interested.

What keyboard were these in? M9 is not well documented.

I'll have to see if these are the same keystem as my existing tall black M9 switches, or a different mount.

These switches were in an Adler Gabrielle 8008 typewriter. I will desolder some more today and then we'll see.

I realise that you may wish to sell the keycaps as a complete set (although they're more likely to fit a Commodore 64 than anything) but if you're intending to split those up, it would be useful to have a couple just for the purposes of mount testing. (I keep a box of keycaps for mount compatibility checks.)

I just bought an old keyboard with what I presume to be M9 switches judging by the keycaps, will post more pictures of it when I get it!
Edit: Does anyone know how long the travel distance of these switches is?

M9 has 4.2 mm travel according to the 1982 Cherry catalogue.

Unfortunately the keyboard turned out to be Cherry M8, strangely with a plate to which the switches are not actually attached:

I haven't removed more keycaps yet as the stems seem to be very brittle (broke one already, so I replaced it with one from my 0662), but the 2 stems I saw were black. All switches seem to be linear. Will create a wiki article for the board within the next few days.

Oh, that's the first time I see that keycap profile outside of a Triumph-Adler typewriter/computer. I thought those were exclusive to TA. Does anyone know who made those keycaps?

That is a Triumph-Adler, Taylorix sold rebranded TA computers back in the days

TheTaylorix-System 8 happens to be a Triumph-Adler 1600 rebrand, so I would assume they were made by TA considering they also come on Futaba ML switches in the TA Alphatronic PC

Oh, ok, thanks for the heads up. I'd assume those keycaps were made by TA themself then, too.

It seems that should be M81 or M82, at least it isn't M84.
