In this thread I'll show off all the keyboards I got from Mrinterface last Sunday, when he made a 'little' cleanup. other-f61/attic-attack-t18575.html#p406286
Thank you, Mrinterface!!
Here is a first overview over all of them: https://imgur.com/a/KGDD2
I'll post them one by one or in little groups (eg Model Ms), maybe one or two a day, maybe 10 a day. I won't rush through them, I'll leave me time to inspect every keyboard, maybe test it in case it's interesting to me and decide what I'll do with them. In addition to that I have nearly no time the next month due to work.
In case anyone wants any information about the boards that I can get from the board itself, please ask!
Most of the keyboards will be up for sale by me. In this case 'sale' means that they'll be sold, but not necessarily for regular market value. Everything where I don't write that it is NOT up for sale (or in case it's not worth much, free to pick up) is ready to get taken by someone else. Write me a PN with what it's usually worth and what you'd pay. (Mods, I hope this is ok?!??)
All the pictures will be in imgur albums, it'd be shitty to upload them and make the page load times to big.
And now, the first few keyboards:
Datacomp DCK84B
- pretty light board
- switches are some kind of linear alps (or clones?), pretty flat.
- caps are printed, I guess.
Quite interesting, tiny layout.

Apple m0118
- salmon alps
- case is kinda dead
- the caps turned out pretty good after leaving them in the ultrasonic cleaner for a few hours
I really like the layout and look of the board, but I guess it's not worth converting it to usb. At least not with the current case.

kidBoard KB-PC09
- white clicky alps
- pretty sturdy
Who the fuck gets design ideas like this one?
https://imgur.com/a/RS2pv
Bunch of IBM Model Ms
- classy model m
- will assemble one complete out of the parts
I'll keep one or two of them for me to have some stuff to mess around with when I get bored
AEK 1 m0115
- orange alps
- caps currently getting cleaned
I never before had alps, typed on these for 1 minute (not connected to a PC) - The switches will be kept, I have to get me a custom keyboard that supports alps switches. Best switches I typed on so far.
Switches NOT for sale, not yet sure about the caps.

Looks like a mouse chewed on some of those keys on the M0118. I didn't know rodents liked PBT.

There was also a footprint on the board, I guess it slid over a rough surface a bit...ScottPaladin wrote: ↑Looks like a mouse chewed on some of those keys on the M0118. I didn't know rodents liked PBT.

The switches are "[wiki]Like SKFR but taller[/wiki]" — I don't know if they are part of SKFR series (there is an unreconciled model number SKFRAK) or a separate series. It's not the height that leads to the uncertainly, but that SKFR/SKFS are not standard Alps mount, while the taller versions are.thokir wrote: ↑ Datacomp DCK84B
