I finally got some samples. The quality is pretty good.

We need to make some updates but I'm pretty happy with it. The layout will probably be KAT.

I'd really like to try this method some day. Doesn't seem extremely hard to do, plus all of the possibilities :O

I would really like to see this technique take off, it has a lot of potential.

Normally, print the legends darker than the unprinted cap plastic; here, print the cap darker than the (unprinted) legend plastic instead.

I'm super late to this thread, but that's the best all-over dyesub I've seen. The legends are perfectly sharp, and it makes the sets on eBay look even more crappy by comparison.

But now that this method seems to be taking off, can we talk about the long-term stability of the pigments being used? It would suck to have a perfectly colored set that starts fading or color shifting after a few years of UV and oxygen exposure. Have any accelerated aging tests been done on these colors?

that's a good point, generally speaking PBT ages very well but I don't have a track record for the dyesub colors. I noticed that white (even PBT) tends to lose brightness over time but it's not as bad as white ABS.

The UV index out here in Central Texas is often quite high (I would say "off the chart"...). If you send me some caps I can leave them outside for a while and periodically check on them to see what happens to them. :P

These are looking sharp! Think we'll see these pop up sometime next year?
