Man, I always loved blue modifiers on vintage boards.

No switch porn? Guess she needs a little convincing yet to shoot some nudes. And you know they’ll be good, with a tight little chassis the like of that…

Well, when I come to think of those tiny erected stems many switches have, probably no switch porn is better.

Or to put it the other, grumpy way:

…oh, well, it's no use, sexism will never die :roll:

Yeah, sorry for the tame photos. I wanted to take this further, in general, to show more of the inside of the board.

But I'm at the point where I have so many disassembled boards in my living room that I just can't manage one more.

Many more pictures to come (and a workshop thread) once I wrap a couple other things up!

Thanks, Snacks. And very understandable. It’s the projects that are still midway, in pieces, that ruin you! Better finish some stuff than strip tease us!

@Chockentastatur:

Understood. Thing is, I’d never say a thing like that to an unsuspecting keyboard, minding her own business. This stuff all comes out in play…

This is the kind of post I really like on DT

This one I particularly like the built by...tested by...completed by... labels.
They add a vintage personal touch to the keyboard.

Nice form factor, and vivid caps. I hope XMIT sees this.

This reminds me a bit of the CDC-713 terminal that I used to have as a kid and which I based one of my Plum keyboard customizations on:

I hope so too.

This is one of my favorite boards and the source of my handle and avatar. This looks like the Micro Switch Hall Effect flavor and not the Cortron flavor. I have the former in storage and the latter was sold a couple of years ago. Oddly it seems like the Cortron flavor is the more rare of the two.

Please keep up the good finds snacksthecat.

Just a lovely piece of retro tech there. It's inspiring me to finally finish the restoration/conversion of my Sperry.
