Turns out this machine wasn't properly stored. It rusted pretty badly. Would say to the point of no return.

Some kind of serial port, probably to connect CP/M machine. Plus din port which I havee no clue what could be used for.

Thre buttons ejected from their place during transport. Finding all the parts missing inside was a challenge. Especially the tiny springs. One still missing...

Leaked batteries.

Found quite a few bizzare things in old keyboards and typewriters over the years. But that lightbulb takes the spot for the weirdest.

Main event the keyboard module. Typical build for this series of typewriters.

Marquardt Butterfly switches.

Diodes for NKRO.

Lots of work ahead for that board, but the switches are barely used. Which is quite ironic. Because so far out of 5, two in worst condition had the best feeling switches. And the pristine one serves as donor for parts
25$ well spent.

These are rare machines. I recently acquired two ES180 with an MDE Floppy Extension and one ES110. I found almost no documentation on the internet about this machines. Maybe we could exchange infos
