Univac 4118511-01 keyboard from 1968

The earliest keyboard I have now. This is a Univac keyboard with Micro Switch switches from 1968. This is likely from a console of some type as it has a "return" key and the keyboard assembly is embedded in a metal plate that looks like it screws into a bigger console (it is not a stand-alone keyboard). While this does resemble the Univac Uniscope 100, that uses different key switches and is a more compact design. If anyone has heard these, they are very clicky and loud but even so, this still has a clicker.

Really nice photos! I've never imagined switches so tall before. And those red wires look super delicate. Glad it's in such great condition especially considering it's over 50 years old!

As requested, an added pic: This is the space bar stabilizer. The square hole is where a key switch protrudes to make contact with one side of the space bar. My other Univac Micro Switch keyboard does not have a space bar arrangement like this.
