The keyboard is compact and well build, the keys are clicky and tactile, so I'm starting to love this little one, but it doesn't work. I tested the connectivities with a multimeter, but I can't fins any error. One possibility is that this keyboard can't work on a Win7, and the other is that this one simply died.

Might just be a dead controller, do you have a pic of the controller?

This is an acer rebranded keyboard. Very sturdy and quite pleasant to type on.

Those switches look like ALPS knock-offs. Are they compatible? The stems certainly lead me to believe they would be.

After cleaning up the inside of the board it worked angain, just to find out that some of the keys doens't work at all; the circuit board seems to be fine, but the circuit sheets are burned:

It's a shame, because it's very pleasant to type on it...

I am sending MrInterface two acer boards, which he will be taking apart for the switches. Perhaps you can talk him into sending you one of the controller boards.

In the past I had some success lightly sanding the lead surface on rubberdome sheets. However those were not that burned and mostyl intersections were troubled. Maybe worth a try. :?:
