Nice find and welcome!

I remember that there are some threads here where people actually converted their honeywell boards. Like this one here: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=19688&p=423217&hili ... ct#p423217

or this one

viewtopic.php?f=7&t=24822&p=474330&hili ... ct#p474330

Maybe the wiki page has some links? wiki/Micro_Switch_SD_Series#Documentation

You have to search around a bit, but maybe you'll find something helpful. I also still have a microswitch board laying around, but it's a bit intimidating so I haven't really started with converting that ...

can we see the picture of the switch just to be sure?

Caps—and whole board—look very Micro Switch to me. I like it. ;)

Good luck with the conversion. I've still not got around to it. But I know it can be done! Do share the details if you do.

How would one achieve this without a logic analyser?

I think MMcM knows how.

hello, here there is a picture from the inside, looks the same apart from the keys layout i guess is micro switch hall effect

Yes it definitely is. But the caps just pull off quite easily, and are fun to look at from the inside. You may want to clean them, I always do on anything but pristine boards.

Think the spacebar has a clip in stabiliser and that’s about it.

very nice! i allready cleaned the inside and everything, unfortunately i don't know much about electronic stuff and im not shure i can do anything.. lol anyway maybe honeywell made a converter to a more standard serial port like the rs232 or rs 485 back in the days? if so it will be easier to drive i guess

I think it can be done with an arduino aswell

I think the easiest way is this: viewtopic.php?p=483317#p483317
but is anyone knows how to wire the teensi and the db25 port? after that i can just program it with the github software
and fix a few lines any clues? thank you

Thanks for finding that again for me, I knew McMM had converted my keyboard somewhere! :D

The pin assignments are in the readme.

You're probably fine. But I'd definitely check with McMM, in your case. It's possible to wreck the electronics with mistaken pins.

Yes indeed, I was actually thinking the same, one mistake, especially with the power and that's it. I was looking for the pinout but it doesn't seems to be that easy for example a wile ago you posted this: viewtopic.php?t=6296
but that db25 pinout does not match with the read me file on github, so im a bit confused , do you suggest to contact McMM? shall i send him an email? thanx for the help!

The kbdbabel pinout may well be wrong / for the wrong keyboard. I never did get around to testing it. I'd trust McMM's findings.
