Be a guy and repeatedly press the "COUP" button for me (for us all in DT, really).
Armed revolt you say? Where’d I put my camo face paint?
It's for the greater good of Keyboardery.

Also, my camo face paint is all pebble and pearl. I'm out of industrial gray right now.

That’ll work. You’ll be perfectly masked in an IBM rich environment. Battlecraft is all about situational awareness, after all.

Do you have any background on where this keyboard were used? Looks like it was used with some sort of special purpose software application used with a telephone system. Yours shares a number of custom keys as a Model M that I found locally a few years back.

Very nice! This mod asks for replacing default green LEDs by pink/purplish ones. 8-)

Ordinarily, I'd say "sacrilege!" But in this particular case, you've got a fair point!

I just bought an assortment of LEDS. The next one will be ocean blue keycap with blue LEDS and Gateron Yellow.

Is there a reliable source (whether it's a particular model/line of keyboards or a specific store/website/seller) for finding Alps-mount caps with Chinese legends that aren't complete crap?

This was a while back, and is really not that exotic, but I do have a picture of a Cherry Doubleshot set I stuck on a Redragon K552. I still have the keyboard and the caps, but this was a one time thing I did for this image, hence why I don't have more pictures of this particular keyboard setup.

Love the fact I can use this beamspring, thanks to Xwhatsit and Pandrew's excellent efforts. I've other vintage boards still needing that love, but this one is the one I'd choose!

HHKB Pro 2 modded with Novatouch MX sliders (Including spacebar)
Didn't want to throw away my Novatouch so I used up my old Sony BKE sliders & dead Realforce 86u sliders that I had lying around. All they need now is keycaps.

HHKB will be getting matt3os susuwatari caps
Novatouch will be getting some kbdfans stealth caps... When I can afford it...

Found this in a attic. It's a SK-2300H, possibly from BTC (1.25U ESC). Types much better than my previous Skiller Pro and has a more bassy sound :D
It is pretty yellowed though.

Got to start somewhere! I have the same board and the domes are pretty snappy. Are you happy with it not being ANSI though? I’ve still got those Acers if you’re interested ;)

Nah, it is just that most ISO boards have the @-key on the key where the quotation-mark reside, which I really can't type on. Here, the @-key is on the ''good'' spot :)

Ah. Yes, that is a little annoying - although my preference is the reverse of yours. I run all the boards I can through Soarers to guarantee shift+2 gives “

Looks quite like Apple ISO UK to me: a little bit of ANSI US in disguise! That’s just where I keep @ and ‘ too.

I finally got a Battleship! They were sorting through some old closets at work and together with some old binders and books were an old F122! It seems like it was used with an old IBM terminal, I haven't seen any trace of a computer but I will keep my eyes open.

Please correct me if I'm wrong but since it has a DIN connector (240) I either need a converter or a new controllerboard to work on a modern computer? Since I would like to reconfigure it a bit (changing the "Enter" and "Reset" key to Ctrl, changing CapsLock to Escape and adding a Delete key for example), I fear that I only have one choice - Replacing the controller board.
What model would you guys recommend I choose and is it possible to change back in case I find the old terminal somewhere (I probably won't but who knows?)

Now there’s a sight for sore eyes. You don't just stumble across an F122 nowadays! Count yourself blessed.

I haven't had one myself. (Kishsaver is my apex Model F, less for me is more.) But people were using them here on DT years before Xwhatsit made replacement controllers a thing. I expect a Soarer converter with the right port will do the trick. But do confirm with someone who has direct experience.
