Three down, one to go. Hopefully some forgotten warehouses will keep being discovered so that many others have a chance to use these amazing boards :(

Oooh, shiny... That's in surprisingly wood condition, too! I'm impressed. Where did you get your hands on this?

The best F layout! Great find!

Wow: the Kishsaver's big bro!

I too am interested in any more of these. Great to see it in the original box.

For anyone who prefers TKL to 60%: just think of the inverted T you could put on the bottom row of the matrix zone, plus a numpad or navigation block above it. Xwhatsit's controller will be awesome with this!

I take the one to go!
:-)

What do I have to doe to get it?

They actually still exist, with the original packaging no less. I'm impressed.

Wow, that's a nice one!

Regarding the original box: if the 77 key model is this, and the 62 keys one is the Kishsaver -- what is the 50 key model? Maybe the matrix layout that tinnie also had?

Yes:

The 62 is my ideal pick of the lot, with the 77 key a close second. The 107 is still better to me than an AT, though!

I handled one of Tinnie's 50-keys (for Soarer) and it's just as tough as the Kish. I'd rather it didn't have the dividing lines between the blocks, though. But feels just as Model F as the 62 key.

Damn nice find!
I want one too. The missing navigation Buttons on the Kishsaver make me sad :(

This was a rather fortunate ebay snag - I missed my alerts for it by a significant amount of time, and it had a bid already - but with a reserve set, I could still BIN and calm down a bit after nearly having to self-flagellate. More than what I usually pay for keyboards, but my birthday is coming up, so it was an early present.

But yeah, this is one of those unicorn type boards that I thought might never come up for me. Start looking for more, people, before they're all recycled!

I think the big trash/recycling happened long ago. Anyone smart enough to keep an old keyboard in its box and list it on ebay knows they have something worth selling. They'll only get junked if bids don't come along.

Interesting. I had not known that IBM once produced a 77-key Model F.

It is sad to think that there are landfills containing beam springs and model Fs that unknowing unappreciative people tossed into the dumpster long ago.

Me wants! That one is awesome!

Forgot to note - please don't message the seller looking for more. He unfortunately doesn't have any, related, or any leads. I asked, of course :(

Please tell him to look once again, into every corner!

If i could nab one these days, I'd go for a 62 key, but that 77 key is seriously badass

That's actually surprising to me, because I recall that you knew about this board and its provenance in 2010, which is before the vast majority of people. I kinda assumed that you dug one up from an illuminati vault or something at that point!

You must be mistaken. After all, it's not on the wiki.

Must have missed it. Probably in my dormant period after geekhack before deskthority when sixty and me where doing Asia.

You and sixty were "doing" Asia? You mean like "Debbie Does Dallas"?

Maybe there's a "Sixty Does Saigon" movie out there.
