Indeed, Lowpoly's M0110 mod is legend, and the gold standard of hand wired matrix making. Night and day compared to my own style!

I'm going to try my M0110 stock, first. (Thanks to Hasu.) But I really wonder what Lowpoly's feels like…

I had an HHKB. (Just proxying it for someone.) Wonderful little thing, just like I expected. It's almost exactly the same size as my 60% custom, but way shorter off the desk! The feel is great, maybe not as perfect as a Realforce, but it's close and you can really feel the weight saved by using a plastic plate instead of metal.

When I do finally get around to buying my own one, it'll be the one true HHKB: the white model with black legends in Helvetica. Of course! And then I'll start driving myself crazy trying to hack it with Bluetooth…

Yeah, it's a lot of work isn't it! Make sure your case isn't too tight. I had ghosting issues with my custom keyboard because my diodes are so close to the case. More space makes things much easier.

Less noisy without the pcb and lighter action with the replacement springs. Especially the spring replacement is crucial for the usability of the M0110, IMO.

Thread contribute: C64 keyboard: http://www.ebay.de/itm/390766946308 made by Mitsumi, linear spring action, carbon contact on pcb, IIRC.

these are M9 switches. Was discussed here already a few pages before.

Some people have no idea what they're selling. Looks like a perfectly fine Model M is being put on sale for 2 euros. It's probably AZERTY, since it's in France, the picture's too small to confirm.

Too far away from me to pick it up though.

It's not quite domes, they're buckling rubber sleeves. They're still not amazing. For that much you could get a proper Model M! That price is already too high though, pretty sure someone on the forums was selling one in the UK for £30!

Fun fact of the day: The transverse buckling spring patent actually discusses the Model M4/M6 family, and describes them as rubber dome.

In any case, I find the buckling rubber sleeve boards to be particularly good as far as short travel rubber-based boards go, but they're still ultimately short travel rubber-based boards..

I cannot understand what that Spanish set is doing in Taobao  . Unfortunately, these Cherry/Olivetti sets seem to be very hard to find in Spain (the place we should find most of them, I really don't know if South America was a big market for Olivetti).

sure can. You're aware these have low profile ALPS switches which are rather disliked?

Some finds:
just 6 hours remaining, ships from Austria. Perkin-Elmer with Hi-tek Linear switches. Still noone has bid on it, but shipping to Germany alone is 15€.

IBM selectric (II ?) typewriter with cyrillic caps, IBM dustcover, 8 typeballs, manual and some cartridges. CoC only. AFAIR there are memebers from that area here.

ATEX keyboard for quite some asking. Just a couple of minutes left, but I'm sure it'll relist with just a few € less, if at all.

Even better - I've got one you can have for shipping costs. Only the board with cable - no wrist rest, no number pad, no manual, no software, not tested, not cleaned.
Not sure whether the case is yellowed or this is its original colour, it rather looks like the one in the eBay listing.
And it has the exact same numbers on the label.
