Edit: Wow, sold in just a couple of minutes. :!:
And it's back!

I guess the buyer didn't like the rubbery dominess.

Poor guy, hasn't anyone told him this would be best to forget (on his part) ?

No one will pay $300+ for a rubber membrane keyboard despite the IBM logo. He would do better to donate it to a charity of some sort ;) .

I bought mine for 30 bucks. THIRTY. FFS. DT's wiki has become __the__ main hub for information about vintage keyboards and obscure switches... it's tempting to suggest it also becomes "price check central".

We'll I've bought Beamsprings for less than 100 dollars, but that doesn't mean that's all they're worth.

Right, the value is relative to the "hype" and what some people are willing to spend. I remember buying a NTC with blue Alps for 1 Euro.

I remember back in 2014 selling my almost perfect Chicony KB-5161 with Blue Alps for $60! At the time I thought that was crazy expensive. Now I typically get $200 minimum for Blue Alps boards.

Yeah I think 2016 the blue Alps hype began with the $500+ prices for nice ones. Madness.

I don't think he's single handedly responsible, but his overhyping probably fooled some people in to over paying and then those prices slowly became the norm.

Nah I think it started with some asian rich kids that wanted really clean Alps for their customs and bought for those crazy prices on ebay.

Yeah I was planning on selling the switches at some point but didn't have the time to just get through all of them so I just sold them off.

Yeah and there are a bunch of new old stock ones on eBay for 18 shipped. If anyone wants a peerless board get one of those instead haha.

I once bought a big lot of Peerless boards (around 40 if I recall) and they were anywhere from scrap to unused condition, they all felt the same to me. On the bright side, I made around $200 on those by reselling on eBay. :P

I sold them for $15/piece, they didn't fly off the shelves but there was a trickle of sales to be sure.

Interesting, I'd sell mine for that. It's worthless to me.
