Zenith Portable Computer with black label board. Looks in pretty good condition considering the case doesnt look yellowed at all and the caps are just a tinge or just a bit dirty.

Blue Alps board for $100 ($30 shipping) https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Datate ... 2493348471

EDIT: Didn't notice it's a bid instead of a buy now. Sorry about that. :)

*$100 starting bid* Dont confuse it to be a BIN. The price will surely rise far beyond that.

I think you're looking at the wrong listing mate as the original one has ended, annoying thing eBay have started doing recently =[. If you click in the blue bar at the top you can see the original and I'm pretty confident they are 2 shots =]

Yet another beamer: https://www.ebay.com/itm/132669434373/

For once not a 5251; always nice with some variety

this has a very interesting Italian layout, but... are they any chances to have it working again? I've never restored a single Kb: is it a good project to start with restoration for you?

Probably not, since beamsprings are pretty hard to both restore and find, meaning you will have trouble finding spare parts as well. There are a lot od documented restorations on the workshop forum.

That model is quite common. Problem is you will have to find the same key as each row has a different slopped profile.

Still beamsprings are hard to find no matter the model, and expensive.

No, they can be brown alps as well. The DC-2214 can have white. I believe the DC-2014 is always blue alps, however.

No, they can be brown alps as well. The same is true for the DC-2214. I believe the DC-2014 is always blue alps, however.

A full set of double-shots in true ANSI is pretty special on its own.

Can't remember if it was a 2214 or a 3014, but I've found one of those with White ALPS before. No longer have the board to go back and look at though.

Most 2214s come with whites, ones with blues are very uncommon.
