If by legit, you mean rubber dome, then I don't see why not.

It’s a real rubber dome IBM keyboard. Seller had 6 in the last batch too and won’t budge on price.

I tried the offer process last go-around. Seller countered for 145 saying they already had several offers at 165 but would do me a favor. I bailed out because not only is 145 still too high with $20 shipping on top of that still, but because a misleading seller like that tends to be bad news. Nobody would send an offer for the list price- they would just buy it now.

That's a micro switch ST (wiki/Micro_Switch_ST_Series)variant and not buckling spring.

I have one of these monsters (well, a A9300C and this is A9300G). It's nicer to type on than I thought it would be.

The rubber cover on this particular model looks pretty nasty to me, but underneath was protected.

The seller is RJR in Atlanta. He is an old IBM dealer with a warehouse of goods. Buyer beware, these are not buckling spring boards as others have noted. One sold on eBay for $140.27 on April 18th of this year. I'd value these at $100 to $120.

Funny, that’s exactly what I offered him and would have gladly paid him before he started telling fibs about imaginary offers…

Seller says it has neon green Alps. The bidding's at $879.42 with 5 days left, so I'd say it probably is.

Very nice. Thanks for posting this one. I'm not a fan of the switches, but this would be a nice KB to use as a base for customizing.

I thought only blue alps boards commanded high prices. What makes the green alps so special?

It's Neon Green and in a delicious Xerox board. Xerox is so important to the history of computers.

Interesting...seller says this is a NOS Apple IIc replacement board with Blue Alps.
Anyone seen that before? I was pretty sure it was hairspring (A2S4000) and Amber Alps (A2S4100/memory expansion) only....

My somewhat educated opinion, based on buying keyboards for the past three years, is that the order of least to most expensive is GENERALLY black, white, cream/white damped, yellow, salmon, orange, green, SKCC (IBM "Pingmasters," specifically), blue, SKCP (IBM 5576), brown, neon green -- and I'll note that you can argue about "bamboo" and "pine" ratings for some of those and/or the year it was produced and/or other things. There is a lot of overlap with green, Pingmasters, blue, and SKCP. Blues can get much higher than the others ($400+, according to my records), but I think the average prices are pretty similar ($250 - $300). I have no idea where to place Alps switches that are even less common, like amber, because I've just not seen any for sale.

Value also depends on what kind of keyboard it is and condition. I just sold a pretty nicely restored OmniKey 102 with pine white Alps for $150 US.

Again, generally. Don't fite me.
