speaking of blue alps
Interesting, this appears to be a Gen1 (gold label) Northgate with a later badge. The "inspection number" on the bottom doesn't match any of the normal formats, and the bigger paper label is gone, if it was ever there at all. Early 102 layout, blue Alps switches, XT/AT switch, and attached cable are all Gen1-only features. This might have been a warranty exchange or factory repair/refurb. We've seen that once or twice in the past.

Interesting...seller says this is a NOS Apple IIc replacement board with Blue Alps.
Anyone seen that before? I was pretty sure it was hairspring (A2S4000) and Amber Alps (A2S4100/memory expansion) only....

Yes I remember seeing one, someone posted it either here or on the Discord many months ago.
Once upon a time, blue Alps were just common I suppose.

Is aye a wee looker, that thing. Should really go into someone's IIc project.

Thanks for the insight, the switches look to be in pretty good shape could just be cleaned tho. Would love to have this board but I imagine that this auction will not be cheap or lightly contested.

Please don't buy this guys, someone took the stickers off, painted it blue and copper and then put the stickers back on. Look how bad the paint job is. You're going to overpay for some NASA stickers that you can print out from online.
HOLY CRAP!!! That bull went for $1200 shipped. XMIT ought to break out the paint and stickers and make elecplus RICH!

I've been thinking about it. I have more than enough extra black and white Alps switches lying around. Considering black Alps Dell 101s are selling around $120, it's almost worth it. But I'm also one of the few folks that would prefer to have the num keys on the left.

If I’m serious about something I like to bid early because the eBay app makes sure I am reminded about the auction, whereas watching doesn’t seem to work as well. At least for me, if I’m watching several items I don’t always get a reminder when the auction is ending. Probably because I’m watching too many!

Surely yes, and I provisionally agree :D.

I think I have four white Dell-branded bigfoot KBs and one SGI-branded bigfoot KB (which is sort-of beige, after retr0brighting). While I do think the linearized blacks are quite nice, the big draw, for me, was that you can get aftermarket caps for these. Through various wheeling and dealing, I currently have two of the Tai-Hao new sets and one on the way.

All the above KBs have/had problems, from just missing or damaged keys to rusted mounting plates. I think all have cut cables. I have the parts and tools to fix these, so I didn't pay $100+ for any. Someone without parts and tools would be stuck having to buy something else.

That's essentially it for me, too. Especially when the auction doesn't stand out as something obvious, e.g. how there's no label on the Z150, I put a bid in to remind myself. I've also missed winning a couple auctions where the final bids were really, really low.

Building on TFS' post, I've won several auctions because the seller saw that I was a watcher and offered me a discount. In two cases, I got the KBs for more than 50% off of the asking price.

I have one beige (off-white?) AT102W and one black AT102W and if you added the cost of both together including all the shipping, you still wouldn't get to $100. I got v lucky with the black one in particular but still... jeez.

The other thing is that the key caps on most of the Dell 101s/102s are awful. Faded to oblivion. I've got single-shot and pad printed caps that look much nicer on KBs that are a decade older.
