people that just camp/lurk on this thread will profit.

Also from my experience from my own forum (not keyboard related), about 80 to 90% of people who read forum threads are not even registered in the forum. So for every "deskthorian" reading this thread, five to ten "guests" will read it.
...

Well, it would probably be possible to have a "hidden" subforum for that which becomes visible to registered users after 25 posts + one month after registration or something like that so that lurkers and guests won't see it.

Do we need to have this discussion AGAIN?
And we don't have a great finds thread since we don't need one it just causes discussions to overlap etc .
Just start a new thread

Have a look there. This keyboard has the same switches, the caps are the same design (and doubleshot).
Anybody interested can have mine for shipping costs

There's one for sale on a Dutch site here. Shipping shouldn't be too bad. No asking price given though.

If you have an ISO model M, I can do a bolt-mod and swap the springs/hammers to make it an ANSI board.

Someone asked to the seller what model number was in the back:

Highscreen MY 3000

It could be Dye Sub or Doubleshot, someone in Germany get it because I don't know why I bid on it :P

Seller just responded to this question saying he wants about 35 euro for it.

It's a rare collector's item, the first pc compatible Model M. If I hadn't had one already, I'd pay twice that.

Wow, I did not know about that one. $162.66... Before proxying... But it is purdy...

I paid $158.40 total shipped for my NIB 120 and 131... I don't think I could justify that 032...

EDIT: Wait a minute... Does that listing say he has 11 of them?!

The price of industrial version(1388032, 1394950, etc..) are usually higher than normal version. ;)

So basically you're saying that a used industrial (before proxying) is worth more than 2 NIB non-industrial shipped to my door?... The color of the case and badge are REALLY worth that much of a price increase?...

The OP is allowed to call the thread whatever he damn well pleases. This is DT not GH, which means he'll have to choose to change it himself of his own volition.

Well, I heard webwit got some NIB G80-5000 ANSI for 10€ or so. While t!ng got a G80-5000 ISO DE for 160€ or something. so.. Is a used G80-5000 ISO DE worth 10 times more than a NIB ANSI G80-5000?

Very true. It's all about how good you are at finding the good deals. How much you pay for something isn't what it's worth.

I am still very tempted by that 1388032 though... How much do you think it would be shipped to my door? And would it survive the journey?... (I don't want a DOA or frankenstein...). And if I were to get it proxied to me it would make sense for other people to add items to the shipment. My wallet says "no", but my brain says "but it's purdy"...

I got mine on a gamble from one of those big, shady parts resellers. No photo, just the part number. No international shipping, used a US proxy. Casino Mechanica. I won.

It was $113.75 from bigestock.com, plus shipping. Didn't have to pay VAT/import costs, it was a, uhm, gift from my aunt, the proxy.
