Help Ukraine: buy a keyboard!

Idea: maybe I could get our local politicians to bring it back for me when they inevitably show up in Kiev like absolutely everybody else. Well, besides that one guy, and he really really wanted to…
It would save on shipping!

Interesting “portable” IBM keyboard. More like a crazy num pad:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/195035898829
I dunno what it is, but it a) looks cool and 2) went for over $1000.

I did a little Googling on it and I couldn't find anything.

Most likely an external keyboard for IBM 501 (Automatic Numbering Gang Punch), which was brought to market around 1926 according to this source. And I thought tech from the 70'ies were old :D

NIB TA Dario (Triumph-Adler) desktop computer + monochrome monitor + Cherry keyboard

Image

The seller of this NIB :!: set for sale on eBay for 2000€:
https://www.ebay.de/itm/284815458380
now offers it on the German eBay small ads platform eBay-Kleinanzeigen with a price "proposal", as he puts it, of 900€:

Not going to comment on the sacrilege of buying this immaculate whole set just for the keyboard, but still…

Why buying the whole pc, when you can go for the keycap set for only 567€

Oh my gosh. It's very the case to say: the importance of being 'Dario'

Actually, I had the same idea during the siege of Kyiv. It took exactly two months to receive the boards sent from a suburb of the capital, but they arrived in one piece today. :D

Yup. I also think Mitsumi Miniature Mechanical. Not your name. The keyboard :D. IIRC, that thing needs a controller box that's somewhat pricey, too. Also not you. Well, maybe. I don't really know you.

Cooler Master Novatouch TKL w/extras. Currently $175 with over 6 days left.

This isn’t a keyboard, but an album of keyboard sounds! Never thought I’d see something like this:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/284839262520

Apparently this is also on Spotify and has an IBM F XT, which was a major omission from the record.

Not all, 1385151 and 1435068 are examples of F122s that don't follow the usual 611 number scheme. As to why they have those Model numbers, your guess is as good as mine. Intended for different systems perhaps? Later revisions? Who knows

What's going on with this keyboard? Seller claims that it is not a Model F, but it certainly looks like one.
Normally I'd ignore such a claim, but I'm a bit intrigued since I can't find anything on the parts number, and the inside of the shell looks a bit unusual (in other words: the clickbait totally worked on me):

Yeah, you're right - I just searched for the part number of the assembly and was a bit intrigued when nothing came up :D Funny idea, though - the elusive "Model 000"

Not precisely sure what this is, maybe some sort of IBM clone?

With my luck, it's just an old rubber dome commercial keyboard that would costs a mint to ship to the US, but if anyone in DE is interested, it's on Ebay.de: https://www.ebay.de/itm/183298278442

The case and layout look very much like a 1800 type Cherry board, but the stepped keys would point to something older which is interesting. (this look was also used by Qtronix for some of their Scorpius boards and a few other companies and rebrands, but none look like this.)
The cable is pretty crazy looking.
It mentions EADS, so it might be something proprietary for an aviation system?

This is weird - a keypad with flat (illuminated?) buttons with strange symbols, made in Switzerland - $32.99 buy it now.

The symbols remind me of the ones in Alien.

Yup. The $1500 one. I shall quote, but I'll use spoiler tags because it's a rather long quote. The only thing I'm fixing is the 5 or 6 blank lines between paragraphs:
Spoiler:
This is identical to the First one I just sold except it is missing the quick-start guide sheet of paper.

08NOV89 is the DOM on this sticker (see picture)

AGAIN:
For the moment this is more of a Show-it Off before Auction Listing
(that's why the price is ridiculously High, ...

added 10-11-21(To previous listing): what bugs me most about this listing is almost no one is "watching" it(3 people)
and that is what I am counting onto let me know i have enough interested people to put the starting
price at a reasonable number.

at some point i expect to post it as an auction but who Knows I do like the attention it gets for this eBay Account.
And on the last one I got a good offer and accepted it.

IF I do post it to auction starting bid will likely be $499, which means eBay's Mandatory minimum for "Buy-it-Now(30% more)
will set the Bin price at 648.7(or just 650)

And if it didn't go I'd likely drop the price about $50 every 10 days

Do "watch" it as that is how i will know there are enough interested people out there to start up the Auction.
the last one got 17 watches before it disappeared.
I'm toying with promising to put it up to auction when i get
20 watchers, but I hate to put myself in a position where i cannot change my mind;(and I know plenty of people who
have multiple eBay accounts.(it might take less than 10 people to show 20 watchers)

note I finally found the other one(i am calling it Unit 2B) i knew i had around somewhere; but it 's box is a bit more worn, and it was not sealed when i got it and is missing the quick-reference sheet and the power cord. (only the keyboard and it's PS/2 cord were/are in the Styrofoam packing box) this unit also appears to have never been used though as it was opened when i got it, so no way i can know that.

(The above paragraph refers to the Unit I am selling now)

I have left both units as visually inspected only but would be happy to test before shipping if the buyer wishes.

it should be noted that with the packaging this unit(s) is about 1 inch too big in 2 dimensions to fit into
the USPS's "Game Board" large flat-rate Box that I have been using for the others
so shipping can not be done by flat rate Box unless you choose to have me not send the packaging

I will basically be making a custom box with a couple layers of bubble wrap around the original box;
then trimming down a bigger box to fit neatly (very time consuming), but for a nice collectible item to get to you
in exactly the condition it's in i think it is worth it.

If you prefer alternative handling please contact me Before bidding to arrange it.

... . . . . . . . . . . . . . Below here unchanged from the first(original) listing (This is the 3rd listing and second item). . . . . . . . . . .. .

... Just think, manufactured in '89(see picture)
so 11 years before the world ended in 2K, ... (oops I guess it didn't end, like it was supposed to, wonder who's fault THAT was?)

and 2k is now 22 years behind us(almost),
... so ... this unit has been in the box (more of less sealed)
for well over 30 years.

I'm a recovering Hoarder and this was found in a forced "move-out/clean-up" along with a bunch of other stuff that i will be grudgingly putting up because my new place is WAY too small for me to keep all this stuff, and paying for storage just doesn't make any sense.

moved in(mostly) to the new place now:)
& the new Place has less than 1/2 the square footage i had before :(

hopefully i can get myself to follow the plan of posting at least 1 item per day...

In the listing, the seller admits that they are a hoarder, so I guess that explains the crazy prices of their items. :D
